                      I went out for a takeaway lunch at the Il Panorama restaurant on the * Herengracht

                   on my way back home I stopped and enjoyed the fresh breeze and all the new green

                              Perfect Lazy day I did also see Bella the dog and we had a small walk

The kings day over the weekend was as usual a big street party 

the weather was great and everyone was having a great time 

I'm free al week staying home mostly still have a lot to organise before the summer 

Max is finally getting familiar with his new surroundings

          It is Tuesday in Amsterdam the Easter as gone by so fast things are back to normal 

        I had my usual Tuesday car ride the weather was beautiful I ended up as usual at cafe de Prins 

                              right in the heart of the city near Anne Frank huis museum on the 

                                                                "  Prinsengracht "

                                        after a few beers with my mate and number one driver

                                           I stayed back was not in the mood to cook today 

                                                      I ordered a pepper steak and fries 

                               believe me the pepper sauce was the best I've had in a long time 

                                                       including the ones I made myself 

                                               Amsterdam is so lovely at this time of year 

                                                     yes busy streets and lots of tourists 

                                                       crazy bicycles rushing past you  

                                                       Lovely greenery and the canals 

                                                plus the wild life and Amsterdammers  

                                                              make it all worthwhile 

                                            after a coffee verkeerd meaning wrong coffee 

                                                          more hot milk than coffee 

                                                               was time to go home

                       we had a little rain but looks like Easter long weekend will be a dry weekend 

                                        I've got some plans running through my head but mostly

                            I will take advantage of the free time and do something around the house 

                                                  eat chocolate poach some eggs roast a chicken

Amsterdam days go by

 Another spring day in Amsterdam the city is lovely with the sounds of spring bicycles birds boats in the canals and lots of happy people enjoying everything my city as to offer  

I spend a few hours getting Gaivota spring and summer ready a new law was planned for no diesel and gas motors on the canals only electric starting 2025 gaivota runs on gasoline so I thought I might have to install an electric motor or sell her but they moved it to 2029 instead hope by Easter I will be ready to receive guests maybe family first then we will see who comes in the summer I’m having dinner at restaurant 101 on the Singel canal Love choose to stay home I made him chicken schnitzel and steamed broccolini and he is resting with Max by his side the weather is so pleasant I decided to have a nice cooked dinner by someone else for a change I was just informed I’m having a 4 course menu chefs choice luckily I know the chef I’m sure whatever comes will be delicious

                              I went past the laundry twice today where Bella The Dog lives

Greetings from Amsterdam spring days Friday is here the sun is shinning I went to Brussels yesterday 

The drive is easy from Amsterdam we had a lovely lunch at the Gran Place I saw Manneken pis did a quick shopping then returned to Amsterdam I was home around 8pm 

Today I'm having a relaxed day have a new sofa being delivered I can't wait to reorganise my living room Max my cat will be very happy he already misses the old sofa only leather chairs left at the moment and he does not care for leather I guess its hard to scratch

Im up early this morning going out on a car ride with a friend 

all the way to Brussels

it as been a while since I left Amsterdam 

I don't travel much lately I do want to visit Paris and Madeira soon

Its april fools day 2025

Perfect time to try and return back to the blog sphere 

First I need a fast course on how to post in 2025 my last post was in 2023 I think and a lot as changed 

since 

However Amsterdam as not changed much Spring time is here the elm trees are seeding at the moment they always know the right moment to wake up 

first the seeds will come coinciding with the strong early spring winds that will blow the seeds and fill the streets and canals 

it is also the moment when spring birds feast on the incredible amount of seeds produced
