Two nights left of 2020 Amsterdam is still in lockdown The city is very quiet the streets are calm and the weather is cold Hopefully the new year will bring better days Luckily some street markets are still open I was able to get some nice fresh fruit and vegetables Its important to help small businesses specially in this covid days Here are some pictures from this vibrant city that is Amsterdam Stay safe and happy days MMaxi20 winter2020

The lockdown continues here in Amsterdam the city is still a bit busy But its much less for this time of year, no big plans for the coming days Its going to be a quiet Christmas will try to make the most of it Greetings to all stay safe and wear a mask MMaxi20 .

Another day in lockdown here in Amsterdam I did go out for my usual walk and got some food and some wine The city is quiet looks like Christmas or New Years day with all the commerce closed Nobody is happy with all the restrictions and keep blaming the government But the government did warn the people and asked everybody to practice safe distance wear a mask and don’t gather in groups Most people did not listen and many still are not listening Let us all do what we can as a collective and maybe that way we can have a better 2021 Stay Safe wear a mask and be kind to others I made some videos of Amsterdam on my way to the shops

Im just now getting back to normal in Amsterdam after the passing of my Dad this past August.
My visit to Madeira the place I was born was this time filled with mix emotions.
It was nice to be back home surrounded with family and friends.
Saying goodbye to a loved one is a hard process and it will take time.
Summer time is at an end here in Amsterdam another few weeks of warm weather then the Autumn begins. The trees are already deciding to shed the leaves a feast of colours is about to start.
