The weekend is here the weather is sunny and warm
Soon the first Signs of Spring will start
I had a lovely long walk around the city the
noordermarkt was very busy
But I did manage to get kitty grass and my food for the week
I still wanted a good desert so I went to the Utrechtsestraat to the Kuyt patisserie and got some nice mini cakes
It was a lovely sunny Saturday

It's mid week and all the snow and ice is gone, in Madeira carnival as happened and this year I was not there I miss Madeira but not ready to travel at the moment after the vaccines I will go back to my roots

Amsterdam Lockdown the rain is falling melting the ice and whats left of the snow the weekend was very nice lots of sun and the ice and snow was very special if not cold A lot of people did ice skate this year I'm so happy for everybody was a good distraction from all the covid worries

The snow is melting the canals are freezing while Amsterdam is still in lockdown The sky is very blue and I love how the water and ice become mirrors reflecting the surroundings It was fun going to the Haarlemmerstraat and do some shopping for my dinner

Its sunny today some snow remaining the wind did settle down a bit does not feel so cold
But it can Change I did manage to get some shopping done and some fresh cookies

The snow as been falling the last two days the wind is also strong
Snow is blown around just like sand on a desert
Once again there is talk of the 11 city ice skating run but we are in lockdown and curfew
Unless they find a secure way to do it I’m not sure it will happen
Its a pity if it does not happen this could be the best conditions to have the ice run
Time will tell in a couple of days if it freezes I will try to ice skate still have mine from
20 years ago
